When you grow older, you start facing a harsher, colder world. A world where even the simplest of mistakes are not tolerated, or at least not taken lightly. Where all parties, whether directly or indirectly in the wrong come under fire. Where impressions mean so much, yet to maintain a certain impression takes a lot of work due to the fragility of it all. Where people outwardly say it's ok to be imperfect, yet nobody puts up with imperfection.

So with imperfection, comes the need to fix what is wrong. And fixing takes time. However, with time, things undone that needs to be done becomes more and more serious, like a festering wound left untreated till it becomes a major pain. Which make the opportunity cost of fixing imperfect things, allowing more imperfections to grow.

Chasing after growing imperfections to fix them time and time again is a tiring thing. And it sucks to live with it all, though it's something everybody goes through. Just that some people go through it more and some go through it less. Bleah.. I wonder what is their secret..

Cycling trip to Rengit. The seafood there was fabulous!! And it was a good chance to see the scenery and chillax too. Not to mention the people in my group rock =)


Mugging in the library. See.. that's why we all get fat. Too much munching when we're studying mwahaha. No la.. it was mostly for the trekking trip actually. But it was quite amusing to see so much food in the library suddenly.

Living too idealistically.

SMUX Elections was indeed interesting,with many surprises, realisations and enlightenments (think Chong). There were 27 very capable people all running for the few 15 places offered. So of course, many people won't get in, yet everyone was just as worthy get in. So it was both heartening to see the new exco step into the new crew, yet upsetting at the same time to see people who wanted and committed so much to get in not to.

Shan't go into too much detail for now or I'll never finish until 12am. But I'm really proud of the new crew and I really can't wait to see all the cool new happenings that my friends will plan, organise and create!

I'm feeling quite inspired listening to all their speeches. (Which were all good since I could actually pay proper attention to all 27 of them at one shot haha.) All of them have so much passion and direction and know how they want to help SMUX, even in the light of school and work. I really wonder if I am actually up to that level. After the whole thing, I kept questioning what I have done and how I feel towards SMUX.. And I don't know why, or maybe I do but I refuse to admit it, but I feel that I'm lacking something that they have.

Well, after yesterday, I have decided that I want to search for that something lacking. And I will find it soon.

Anyway, there has been this craze with the SMUX people recently over CREATING SOUTHPARK CHARACTERS!!! My gosh it is SUPER FUN!! Totally addicted on it! Ok, so after playing around, I've done one for myself *grin*
